FSF 2024 Case Study: Aerie

For my FSF project, I chose to focus on Aerie, a brand I believe has a lot of potential to improve in terms of sustainability. While Aerie has made strides in promoting body positivity and inclusivity, I saw an opportunity to elevate their sustainability model and make a more significant impact in that area. Through research, I identified key areas where Aerie could integrate more eco-friendly practices and materials into their production process, which would align with the growing demand for sustainable fashion.

Additionally, I explored Rubi Laboratories, a company known for its innovative work in sustainable textiles. I felt that Rubi’s cutting-edge approach to sustainable fabrics and materials could be an ideal partner for Aerie to help bring their sustainability goals to life. By combining Aerie's strong brand identity with Rubi Laboratories' eco-conscious solutions, I was able to design a project that not only addresses current gaps in sustainability but also helps both brands move toward a greener future.
